Today, I am doing a review for Seresto Flea and Tick Collar. This product lasts 8 months, and is not greasy or messy. Certain dogs can have reactions to it, as it is a pesticide collar. Most are fine with it though, and Seresto takes care of existing fleas and ticks, as well as preventative efficacy.
This product gets a 4.6 out of 5. The ingredients in the collar are released slowly and continuously over 8 months. It spreads over your dog’s entire body. It is also odorless, low maintenance and easy to use. It is also resistant, meaning the collar doesn’t lose effectiveness when it gets wet. It is safe for dogs starting at seven weeks old.
Seresto kills lice as well. The collar will easily snap off if it gets caught on something.
If your dog gets wet on a regular basis, it is only effective to seven months for ticks and five months for fleas. It has a higher upfront cost of $57.98, but that’s all you have to pay for eight months. It is only effective when your dog actually has it on. It may not work quite as well for dogs that have long, thick coats.
It’s pretty simple, it lasts for 9 months, in most circumstances. It works for both existing fleas, and as a preventative. Your dog has to have it on for it to work, and it costs $57.98 for 8 months. If you think you’d like to try Seresto, click here!
