Pup Joy

Pup Joy is a subscription box service.  It is a company that makes customizable boxes of treats, toys, and chews brought on a monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly.  Each box generally has 2 treats, 2 toys, and one chew.  The toys are well made, but not always durable when it comes to bigger dogs.

You can order and option of just toys, toys and treats, or toys, treats, and chews.  Shipments can be paused, in the event that the purchaser starts getting overwhelmed with the number of products.  For an extra nine dollars, you can have a box of more durable toys.  There are $10 or $100 off a box purchase or renewal plan for loyal customers.  They also offer $20 savings for a referral.

The cost is $26 to $29 for the regular Pup Joy box or $33 to $39 for more durable chews.  There are the four paws Butcher Shop Treats, Soda Pup can toys, and Pup Joy chicken treats.  Though not mentioned on any other sites or reviews, Pup Joy also has beds, leashes, collars, and grooming products.

Pros

This company’s ratings are from 4.1 to 4.5, depending on site checked.  The treats, toys, and jerky were generally considered high quality, the dogs enjoyed them, and on the rare occasional bad toy, or treat, customer service was good in sending something better, or getting your money back.

The treats are healthy, and the toys are fun.  There were a lot of fun things in the box, with occasional repeats.  Customer service was a joy to work with.  There is more of a variety than other box services.

Cons

Being that there are a variety of toys and treats over time, there are toys and treats that some dogs didn’t like.  A few stated that customer service was not responsive.  The website was not overly descriptive or detailed.  Some stated that there wasn’t enough variety of treats, toys, and chews.

Summing It Up

The toys, treats, and chews are usually liked by the dogs who tried them, with some exceptions.  There are always individuals in customer service, like any profession that don’t meet up to the standards we would like.  But on the whole, Pup Joy is a company I would recommend.  Don’t forget, they have beds, leashes, collars, and grooming products as well.  To check it out for yourself, click here!

You mentioned that they not always durable when it comes to bigger dogs. My rottweiler is quite big. What other options do you suggest? Thank you for sharing this with us. Keep it up

    • Thank you for your comments.  I used to have a Rottweiler, so I know what they do with toys.  Pup Joy is an interesting business.  As for a good place for toys for bigger dogs, I would recommend Chewy.com, you’re bound to find something you like, they have over 3,000 kinds of toys.
